After having a non-certified technician tend to his
fireplace, Rick Williams was inspired to start KC
Chimney Sweep. He is very passionate about what
he does and made sure to go through CSIA
certification training himself. He personally
understands the importance of a certified chimney
technician and aims to provide his customers wtih
reliable and professional services.
Before starting KC Chimney Sweep, Rick was a
licensed insurance agent. Due to his experience in
the industry, he has ample knowledge of the
importance of home maintenance and the safety
issues that accompany poor upkeep. As the owner
of a home with two fireplaces, Rick is not new to the
risks of not properly maintaining a fireplace. His
goal is to educate homeowners and ensure their
homes are safe from chimney fires.
Our mission is to provide homeowners with
well-swept, safe chimneys, hire well-trained,
CSIA certified technicians, and teach people
how to use and maintain their fireplaces.
